Speaking as a software developer though, I can empathise with the guys doing this though. Even when you have acompany backing you up, software projects are notoriously difficult to predict when they will be finished. Unexpected problems can and will show up at the last minute. So to undertake a project like this in their free time means that this is an even bigger problem. The old mantra of "it's done when it's done" really does apply here as there's no other way around it .

Lionhead sucks.
I've found out the cause of it all not working. The headers of all the files are fished. It won't start BW2 none of it will work. Lionhead added some shitty protection system that must overwrite crap and sugar. I can't deal with that.
I'm out..

A noble effort, but now that they are part of the MicroSoft machine, it would probably take tens of thousands of different people petitioning them (and I don't mean spamming them here people) before they'd even take notice . B&W just doesn't have that strong an online following any more .

Well, I'm sure there's a method past it, but by using less than noble means... Regardless, it was a great effort to try. Thank you so very, very, very much for putting forward all of this effort. Should you keep trying and somehow find a way, we'll gladly still be here waiting to hear about it Thank you again!
