Need Maps - BW2-MP

Hello, as some of you are aware of I've been working on Multiplayer the past few months. I can say now. It fully works smile But. I want some maps to release with it. That's where you lot come in. I'ma need:

3 - 1v1 Maps
2 - 2v2 Maps
1 - 1v1v1v1 Map
2 - 1v1v1 Maps
8 Maps in Total smile

But it will be cool watching the first day of release my servers being wiped out =P

WOW!! ITS THIS CLOSE??
I know i've been playing Spore for a while now, but MP will instantly sway me. I have made a pretty good map that would be appropriate (i think). It comes with a script that creates 2 creatures that fight eachother. The winner is awarded tribute. It's in the script library. That would be great for a 1v1 map i believe, but could also be edited to be any one of the ones suggested above.
PS: I'm incredibly eager to try this out; would it be acceptable to ask if i could be a BETA tester? So many questions need answering that could only be answered by playing it first hand.

By the way.. I have to ask.


In BW1, there is an option to be 'one god, yet two* players', does the BW2 MP has / will get that too?


*upto four players at once can be a god.

I gotta say congrats also.

This has got me interested.

I never played B&W1 Multiplayer that much except for the night the Lionhead severs were finally shut down.  But I'm curious to see this in action.

You must have been working hard on this or REALLY know your stuff.

Thought to check out what has been done since SeptembrbrbBRBRBBRBRBBR HOLY LORD!!!! AND I FIND THIS!  shocked shocked

The primary though of buying B&W 2 was to get Online Play(Trailer blowed my mind). Was very disappointed.  upside down

But after a few years when Lionhead doesn't make a patch or an expansion that still hasn't got multiplayer . Here come a couple of guys who know what people want!

CONGRATS!  woot

One thing I would like you to tweak if you haven't already which would make creature fights stupid. Is that creatures sometimes jump on the other creature and punch them to death while receiving almost no damage them selfs(AFAIK interrupting was possible by making the creature move but then again the other jumps on im!). Would suggest to either remove the move or make it that it can be done once per fight and for a short period of time!

I hate to say it, scripting the actual fighting would be difficult, however I do not know much about scripting. In general, game mechinaics are usually made using tools which the company don't release.

Please don't quote me as I could be wrong thats just my thought.

I recently started playing Black and White 2, and I have to say I quite like it. However, the lack of multiplayer and a skirmish mode was...quite displeasing. I'm sure many felt the same way, and I'm sure you're all probably quite tired of hearing about it as well.

Much to my excitement, a few days after I started playing the game, I was notified of a multiplayer patch being finished only a few weeks ago, and so I've been sent to this forum. It appears that it is finished, but you do not wish to release it without a few more maps?

If it all possible, could I know more about this patch's status? I greatly anticipate its release. I'd be happy with just the patch, and then I could find a single map for myself at the very least. Is there a problem with releasing it without the requested number of maps?

I agree, i know i have sent you a map and i know you and Dax have (or should have) tested multiplayer, but a little more info on the whole thing would be good, the excited gamers have been left in the dark.
One thing i do know is its not apparently very user friendly and requires the users to input some code etc to make it work, so i dont blame you for not releasing it yet, but a BETA for those who can use it would be good!
